It originated at the hands of Kids resource network in mid 1990's. This non profit organization is run by community members to include foster parents, adoptive parents, past foster parents and KRNCS staff. The main resource this organization provides is an opportunity to utilize the care and share food bank. However, most recently there has been efforts made to gain additional resources such as insurance, supports and donations to benefit foster homes and child placed within them. You do not have to be a foster or adoptive parent to be a member.
All voices are heard and valued equally. It is an opportunity to have a voice and lend a helping hand to providers in the community that often times are the saving grace to innocent children.
